The Seven Samurai Dogs are a group of dogs who will be appear as members of the Pound Puppies in a remake of the TV Series.

The Seven Samurai Dogs hail from Japan. They each carry a sword(Except Ichiro and Bara) and dress in traditional Japanese kimono, Only a few of them keep their dark hair in a topknot. When they're not using their swords, they use their martial arts to fight.

Members[]

The members consist of Ichiro, a Shikoku who is the leader of the group; Daikeizu, a tall, slender Kishu who masters ninjutsu; Issun, a Japanese Spitz puppy who is the smallest member of the group; Kohaku, a Kai Ken who is an old friend of Susanoo; Fubuki, a tall, muscular Shiba Inu who is gifted with super strength; Kaguruma, a Japanese Terrier who is gifted with intelligence and mechanics; and Bara, a Japanese Chin who is the only female member of the group.

Ichiro's name means "First Son" in Japanese. Daikeizu's name is a combination of "Big" and "Tree" in Japanese. Issun's name is short for Issun-boshi or "One-inch boy", who was a Japanese fairy tale character. Kohaku's name means "amber" in Japanese. Fubuki means "Snowstorm" in Japanese. Kaguruma's name means "Gear" in Japanese. Bara's name means "Rose" in Japanese.

All of the Seven Samurai Dogs are from Japan. Ichiro hails from Tokyo, Japan. Fubuki hails from Oshima, Japan. Issun and Bara hail from Kyoto, Japan. Daikezu hails from Yakushima. Kaguruma hails from Himeji, Japan. Kohaku hails from Shirakawa, Japan.
